Follow up after your move for a smoother experience! Share your valuable feedback or let us know if you have any post-move concerns that need attention.
Choose an established moving company. Sure, choosing a new company may help you grab a deal that's cheaper than industry averages, but it may also leave you vulnerable to errors or a poor service.
Why move from Silicon Valley, CA to Naples, FL?
Silicon Valley is an exciting place, for sure. But it is no secret that the cost of living there has completely spiraled out of control in recent years. The entire San Francisco area was once considered a nice, cosmopolitan West coast city, but it was not the center of world innovation that it is now until the 1990s. The tech boom has completely changed the socioeconomic landscape of the wider area and made it difficult or impossible for many people to live in.
Somewhere like Naples, Florida offers a nice alternative. While enjoying the same nice weather as its California counterpart (and even nicer during the winter), residents of Naples enjoy many comparative advantages and a more reasonable cost of living. Naples offers numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation, close proximity to beaches, and many other facilities and points of interest.
Furthermore, Naples has low crime rates, world-class restaurants, proximity to other popular Florida destinations, and top-notch shopping facilities. Because of its percentage of retired residents, Florida boasts some of the best medical facilities in the country. And it is easier to get around Florida cities than those in California – you don’t necessarily need a car, conveniences are nearby, and people generally know their neighbors better than people in California do. So there is really no contest.
